Vimanmek Mansion is a 72-room golden teak palace built in 1900 by King Chulalongkorn, featuring Victorian-Thai architecture with European neo-classical interiors combined with traditional Thai motifs. Originally used as a royal residence, it was converted into a museum in 1982 to display King Rama V's photographs, artworks, and handicrafts as a showcase of Thai national heritage.
