A small private boat trip to the calm reef patches off Low Bay for snorkelling clear, uncrowded water that most cruise visitors never reach.
What to expect
You board a small open fishing boat and run out along the coast to Low Bay's reef flats. The captain anchors over healthy coral and reef fish, well away from any other boats. After an hour or so in the water, he grills fresh fish or serves a simple picnic on board. The return trip skirts the pink sand coastline for photos.
Good to know
Bring reef-safe sunscreen; trip runs about 3.5 hours; confirm return timing carefully against your ship's all-aboard since transfers from Codrington back to port can take time.
