What to expect
Your guide collects you and drives the open, treeless plateau road toward the North Cape, stopping for reindeer and coastal views along the way. At the Cape itself, you're given time to stand at the cliff edge — 307 meters above the Barents Sea — largely undisturbed if timed right. The guide explains the site's history from Sami hunting grounds to Thor Heyerdahl's globe monument, and in midsummer you may catch the midnight sun sitting just above the horizon.
