A one-on-one or small-group walk timed around golden-hour light, led by a resident naturalist who knows exactly where the albatross pairs are displaying that day.
What to expect
The warden walks you to whichever part of the colony has the best activity and light that day — courting albatross pairs, chicks being fed, or caracaras squabbling over scraps — and lets you set the pace rather than following a set loop. It's the difference between a snapshot and a genuinely considered image of one of the world's great seabird spectacles.
Good to know
Must be arranged by email well before your cruise date, since the Trust has very limited staff and landing slots on call days; not guaranteed for all ship visits.
