What to expect
The short boat crossing to Cabras Island sets the scene: turquoise water over a white-sand seabed, with the island's forested peak rising steeply above. Your guide briefs you on the endemic species before you slip into visibility that regularly exceeds 10 metres. Sea turtles are a near-daily sighting; octopuses hide in the coral heads and moray eels peer from crevices. Surface intervals on the boat's sundeck, with cold water and fresh fruit served by the crew, make this a genuinely luxurious half-day.

Cabras Island sits just off the northern tip of Ilhabela — a 15–20 min boat ride from the main pier. Half-day format fits comfortably within a port call.
