Palácio da Bolsa Private Guided Tour: Porto's Gilded Masterpiece

Step inside the breathtaking Arab Room of Porto's Stock Exchange Palace — one of Europe's great 19th-century interiors — on a private or small-group guided tour of this UNESCO-listed landmark. The sheer opulence of the gilded Moorish salon is a genuine jaw-drop moment.

What to expect

You enter through the neoclassical façade into a sequence of sumptuously decorated rooms — the Nations Hall with its painted glass ceiling, the golden Tribunal Room, and finally the Arab Room, Porto's crown jewel. Your guide unlocks the history of the city's merchant families and the craftsmanship of the artisans who spent 18 years coating the Moorish salon in gold and silver. Photography here, with the light filtering through the ornate arches, is extraordinary. The tour concludes in a courtyard café perfect for a glass of Douro white.
