Leap from 192 metres above Auckland in a controlled base-jump style descent from the iconic Sky Tower — the tallest freestanding structure in the Southern Hemisphere — then ascend to the open-air observation deck for 360° panoramic views across the city, harbour and volcanic cones.
What to expect
Arrive at the base of the 328-metre Sky Tower in the heart of the CBD and take the express lift to the jump platform. Fully trained AJ Hackett instructors brief you with calm precision before you step to the edge of Auckland's skyline. The 11-second freefall descent at 85 km/h is followed by a graceful slow-down — knees never buckle, heart never forgets. Afterwards, ride up to the open glass-floor observation deck for a celebratory drink and sweeping 80-km views across the Hauraki Gulf, Rangitoto Island and the city spread below.
