What to expect

Good to know

Mývatn is 100 km east of Akureyri — allow 2.5 hrs return transfer plus 2 hrs bathing. Pre-book entry tickets online. All-aboard is typically 6 pm; depart port no later than 10 am to be comfortable. Towel rental available on-site.
