What to expect
Your guide assigns you a well-tempered Andalusian-cross horse and briefs you at the family stable near Vari village. The route winds upward through terraced hillsides with panoramic views of the Aegean and neighboring Cycladic islands before descending to a cove accessible only on horseback or by sea. Dismount and wade into the crystalline water alongside your horse — a memory that outlasts any museum visit. A cold drink and fresh fruit await your return to the stable.
