What to expect
Transfer 45 minutes west to the Barranco de Algendar, Minorca's most spectacular ravine, where you launch kayaks into sheltered green waters canopied by soaring cliffs draped in wild figs. Paddle through the gorge as it opens dramatically into the pearl-white crescent of Cala Galdana. Snorkelling stops reveal vibrant Posidonia meadows — a UNESCO-protected habitat — with octopus, sea bream and starfish. Your naturalist guide narrates the geology and ecosystem throughout. A gourmet picnic on a private beach completes the morning.
