Ascend Vukovar's iconic, battle-scarred Water Tower — Croatia's most recognisable symbol of wartime resilience — for sweeping 360° views over the Danube and the city's remarkable post-war transformation.
What to expect
The Water Tower's bullet-riddled exterior tells its story before you even enter — 600 direct artillery hits during the 87-day siege left it standing defiantly. Inside, a lift and stairs carry you to the panoramic platform where the Danube stretches to the horizon and Vukovar's rooftops unfold below. Interpretive panels on each level weave military history with the tower's symbolic rebirth. On a clear day, the view extends well into Serbia across the river.
