What to expect
Groups are small (typically 8–12 kayakers) and the pace is unhurried. You'll launch from just outside the city walls, paddle around Fort Lovrijenac, duck into a sea cave, and finish with the city walls glowing gold in the last light — phenomenal for photography. All equipment is provided including waterproof bags for cameras and phones. Guides are trained safety professionals who also share rich historical context as you paddle.
Good to know
The sunset tour departs around 4–5 pm depending on season — confirm the departure time and cross-check against your ship's all-aboard time before booking; a 7 pm all-aboard is usually fine, but an earlier one may not be. No kayaking experience is needed. Wear a swimsuit underneath quick-dry clothes and bring a small dry bag for valuables. Pre-book online — sunset tours sell out weeks in advance in July and August.
