Sweep through Latvia's 'Switzerland' — medieval castle ruins, the legendary Turaida Rose tomb, and the primeval Gauja River valley — in a private vehicle with a local expert. One of the Baltic's most cinematic landscapes, all to yourself.
What to expect
Your private guide collects you at the port and whisks you 50 km east into the Gauja National Park. You explore the red-brick Turaida Castle complex and its museum reserve, descend into the valley for the iconic Gutmanis Cave (Latvia's largest), and take in sweeping views of the meandering Gauja. The return journey passes the charming spa town of Sigulda before you arrive back dockside with time to spare.
