Plunge into the protected waters of Plage de Portissol on a guided snorkel trail renowned as one of the Var coast's finest — an immersive two-hour underwater journey through seagrass meadows, octopus, and shoals of gilt-head bream.
What to expect
Portissol beach is a short taxi ride from the port (or a scenic 20-minute walk). The centre provides full snorkel kit — mask, fins, wetsuit if needed — and your instructor briefs you on the underwater trail's markers before entering the crystalline water. The two-hour trail winds through Posidonia seagrass beds teeming with octopus, wrasse, and sea bream. Surface for a rest on the beach mid-way, then return for a warm rinse shower and debrief. Certified divers can opt for a bottle dive of the same area.

Pre-book by phone or email with Sanary Plongée. Portissol is a 5-min taxi from port (approx. EUR 10 each way) or a pleasant coastal walk. Morning sessions (9–11h) offer the clearest visibility. Allow 30 min travel back to ship.
