Venture deep into one of Borneo's last pristine rainforests — accessible only by longboat — and ascend a soaring aluminium canopy walkway 50 metres above the jungle floor for views that define bucket-list. Brunei's crown jewel of conservation.
What to expect
The adventure begins with a thrilling 45-minute longboat ride up the Temburong River to the park entrance. Guided trails through primary dipterocarp rainforest lead you past rope bridges and cascading streams before you ascend the iconic canopy walkway. At the summit, you're level with the treetops — gibbons call, hornbills glide, and the unbroken emerald canopy stretches to the horizon. Swim in crystal-clear river pools on the way back.
Good to know
Full-day excursion; depart port by 8:00 AM and return by 4:30–5:00 PM — confirm all-aboard time carefully. The journey requires a water taxi from Bandar Seri Begawan to Bangar, then longboats. Pre-booking with Freme Travel is essential; park entry permits are limited. Moderate fitness required for trail sections.
