Slip beneath the surface of the Pedernales coast on a certified small-group snorkel and introductory dive experience above pristine coral gardens teeming with tropical fish, rays, and sea turtles in some of the clearest water in the Caribbean.
What to expect
Your certified guide briefs you thoroughly before boarding the private dive boat, fitting you with premium masks, fins, and wetsuits. The reefs off the Cabo Rojo coast benefit from the park's protected status — coral coverage and fish diversity here are exceptional by Caribbean standards. Hawksbill sea turtles are a near-guaranteed sighting, and eagle rays are common in the shallower sections. Non-swimmers can float with a buoyancy vest while snorkellers and introductory divers explore at their own level, all within sight of the guide. Fresh fruit and cold drinks are served on deck between dips.
Good to know
No prior dive certification required for the introductory dive (guide-assisted, shallows only). Advanced certified divers should request the deeper reef itinerary at booking. Reef-safe sunscreen is mandatory — regular sunscreen is not permitted. Book at least 48 hours ahead; equipment sizing details collected at booking. Confirm boat return time against your ship's all-aboard.
