Venture to the outer Great Barrier Reef — one of the seven natural wonders of the world — for guided snorkelling and certified diving among pristine coral bommies, sea turtles, and reef sharks. This is the Reef at its most untouched.
What to expect
The powerful catamaran slices through open water to reach outer Barrier Reef pontoons and bommies that most day-trippers never see. In the water, visibility regularly exceeds 20 metres, revealing staghorn and plate corals alive with parrotfish, wrasse, and curious reef sharks. Certified divers can drop to 18 metres with a dive master guide, while snorkellers explore the coral ceiling from above. Premium Mares wetsuit, mask, and fins are provided; underwater cameras available to hire.
