Join Vertical Blue Dive Shop — Yasawa's premier dive operation — for a conservation-led scuba experience that combines world-class reef diving with meaningful coral restoration work. Dive pristine walls and bommies, then contribute to live coral-planting frames under expert guidance.
What to expect
Your PADI-certified dive guide leads a comprehensive briefing covering both dive sites and the conservation protocol. The first dive explores Yasawa's famous hard-coral gardens teeming with turtles, reef sharks, and lionfish. The second dive focuses on the coral nursery, where you assist in attaching coral fragments to restoration frames — work that directly rebuilds the reef. Post-dive, guides share monitoring data and outline the project's long-term impact over a freshly prepared lunch.
Good to know
Open-water certification required. Pre-book with Vertical Blue as far in advance as possible — small-group conservation dives fill quickly. Bring your certification card and logbook. Equipment hire is available but bringing your own mask and fins is recommended for comfort.
