Coral Sea Snorkel: Pristine Outer-Reef Drift Dive

Slip beneath the surface of some of the least-dived water on the planet — the Coral Sea surrounding Willis Island, hundreds of kilometres from the nearest coast. Visibility regularly exceeds 30 metres, revealing walls of hard coral, reef sharks, giant trevally and undisturbed sea-turtle feeding grounds.

What to expect

Guests kit up in a purpose-equipped dive room and giant-stride into waters of extraordinary clarity. The reef structures here are pristine — no bleaching, no crowds — and the sheer biomass of pelagic life reflects the island's status as a protected marine reserve. Drift snorkelling across shallow coral plateaus, you are likely to encounter hawksbill turtles grazing, schools of chevron barracuda and the flash of a reef whaler in the blue. Safety divers and guides remain in the water throughout.
