Arctic Snorkeling in the World's Northernmost Waters

Don a dry suit and slip beneath the surface of the Arctic Ocean off Grímsey — one of the most extreme and exhilarating snorkeling experiences on earth, guided by Arctic Trip's certified local instructors.

What to expect

After a full dry-suit briefing and fitting, you enter the crystalline Arctic Ocean alongside experienced local guides. Visibility is remarkable — the sub-polar waters are strikingly clear — and the sensation of floating at the very edge of the Arctic is genuinely awe-inspiring. Sea birds dive overhead as you float; below, the kelp forests and rock formations are otherworldly. Post-snorkel, warm up with hot drinks and stories from your guides.
