Bozcaada's volcanic soil produces some of Turkey's most distinctive wines, and Corvus is the island's flagship estate. A private cellar tour and guided vertical tasting with the winemaker is a once-in-a-lifetime Aegean moment.
What to expect
A short taxi ride (~10 min) takes you into the island's rolling vine-covered interior to Corvus's stone estate. You'll tour the fermentation cellar and barrel room before sitting down to a structured tasting of four to six wines — including their flagship Karalahna red and aromatic Çavuş white, both made from indigenous Anatolian grape varieties. The winemaker or estate sommelier narrates the terroir story. A platter of local cheeses and charcuterie accompanies the tasting. Bottles may be purchased and shipped.
Good to know
Contact Corvus directly via their website to arrange a private estate session — these are separate from drop-in tastings and require advance booking. Taxi from port costs approx. TRY 200–300 each way. Allow 2 hours for the full experience.
