Take the plunge on a guided introductory scuba dive in the protected waters of Estaleiro Point, one of Brazil's most biodiverse dive sites, teeming with sea turtles, moray eels, and rainbow reef fish. No experience necessary — just a spirit of adventure.
What to expect
After a concise, confidence-building briefing on the beach, you enter Estaleiro's gin-clear water alongside your PADI instructor and descend slowly to 6–8 metres where sunlight fractures across colonies of brain coral and sea fans. Sea turtles glide past with calm indifference, while a resident school of silvery bigeye snapper parts around you like a living curtain. The 30-minute dive feels both tranquil and electrifying — a sensory immersion that is impossible to forget. Back on the beach, your instructor reviews footage and photographs captured during the dive.
