Glide along the UNESCO-listed Österlen coastline east of Ystad on a curated e-bike route through clifftop meadows, fishing hamlets, and Bronze Age landscapes. One of Sweden's most beautiful micro-regions, best experienced at two-wheel pace.
What to expect
E-bikes are fitted and briefed at the harbour before your guide leads you east along quiet coastal lanes. The route passes the Sandskogen pine forest and dunes, threads through whitewashed fishing villages, and crests the Kåseberga headland above Ales Stenar. Return via inland lanes through a patchwork of rapeseed, barley, and heritage apple orchards that make Skåne's interior look painted. Total distance is approx. 25–35 km, very manageable on e-bikes.
Good to know
E-bikes eliminate any concern about hills or distance — suitable for most fitness levels. Depart from the harbour; return with plenty of time before all-aboard. Book a private local guide through tourHQ and specify e-bike hire to ensure equipment is arranged in advance. Best in May–September for coastal scenery at its most vivid.
