Giza Pyramids, Sphinx & Solar Boat: Private Egyptologist Day

Stand at humanity's greatest wonder — the last surviving Ancient Wonder of the World — with a private Egyptologist unlocking the secrets of the pharaohs. Enter the Great Pyramid, descend into royal chambers, and meet the Sphinx at sunrise before the crowds arrive.

What to expect

Your private air-conditioned vehicle collects you at Port Said before dawn for the 2.5-hour drive to Giza, arriving as the site opens. Your licensed Egyptologist leads you inside Khufu's Great Pyramid, explains the astronomical alignments, and positions you for the iconic Sphinx panorama free of tour-group crowds. The afternoon includes a camel vantage-point stop on the plateau for that timeless desert-and-pyramid horizon shot.

Good to know

Port Said to Giza is ~140 km (approx. 2.5 hrs each way); plan for a 5 am departure to return well before a standard 6 pm all-aboard. Pre-book pyramid interior tickets directly at egy.gov.eg — they sell out. Dress modestly and wear flat shoes.
