Battleship IOWA: Private Decks & Naval History Up Close

Step aboard the mighty USS Iowa — the last of America's great battleships — and walk her enormous gun turrets, command bridge, and Roosevelt's private quarters. A living monument to American naval power and one of the most dramatic museum experiences on the West Coast.

What to expect

You'll walk the teak flight deck of a 900-foot warship and stand inside a 16-inch gun turret capable of firing a shell the weight of a Volkswagen Beetle. The wardroom, crew quarters, and combat bridge are all explorable. The premium tour weaves in gripping stories of WWII Pacific theater engagements and Cold War presidential voyages. The views of San Pedro Bay from the superstructure are spectacular.
