Spend a private morning at La Parrina, one of Tuscany's oldest and most storied agri-estates, tasting bold Maremma DOC reds and single-estate extra-virgin olive oil amid organic vines and ancient olive groves.
What to expect
La Parrina's 18th-century estate sits just 15 km from Porto Ercole, surrounded by organic vineyards and one of the Maremma's largest working olive groves. Your private host leads you through the cellars, where Morellino di Scansano and Ansonica age in Slavonian oak, then to a shaded terrace for a guided tasting paired with estate charcuterie and pecorino. The estate also produces award-winning Taggiasca olive oil, pressed on-site each November.
Good to know
Arrange a private transfer from the port (approx. 20 min by car). Allow 2–2.5 hours for the full private experience. Pre-book directly via the estate website; summer weekends fill quickly. Wines can be shipped home from the estate shop.
