What to expect
Your private driver collects you at Myrina port and follows the southern coast road to Thanos, where dramatic dark volcanic cliffs frame a long arc of blonde sand meeting electric-blue shallows. Sun-loungers and parasols are available from the beach taverna (payable locally, approx EUR 10–12 per set). A short walk along the headland path leads to Mikro Fanaraki, a tucked-away cove beloved by snorkellers for its glassy clarity and abundant sea-life. A leisurely taverna lunch of freshly grilled fish and Lemnos salad rounds out the morning before your return transfer.

Snorkelling gear can be rented at the beach (approx EUR 5). Book a morning departure to maximise beach time before all-aboard. Sun protection and a beach bag are essential; taverna at Thanos accepts cash and cards.
