Kunsthalle Mannheim: Private Curator-Led Tour of Modernist Masterworks

One of Germany's finest modern art museums occupies a spectacular glass and steel building on the Friedrichsplatz. A private curator-led tour transforms a world-class collection — Manet, Cézanne, Beckmann — into an intimate conversation about art and power.

What to expect

You enter the award-winning contemporary building — a luminous glass cube overlooking the art-nouveau Wasserturm — and are guided through galleries spanning Impressionism, Expressionism, and contemporary German art. Your specialist pauses at pivotal works by Max Beckmann, Édouard Manet, and Lovis Corinth, weaving provenance stories and art-historical insight that no audio guide could replicate. The rooftop terrace affords one of the finest panoramas in the city.
