Float the world's largest swim-up bar at Calypso Lagoon

A genuine record you can only tick off here: Long Necks Swim-Up Bar sets 166 in-water bar stools around the largest freshwater lagoon in the Caribbean, beside a DJ island, with the ~50-seat Sunshine Swings swing bar over the shallows right next to it. Floating up for a cocktail is the defining 'I was at Celebration Key' photo. Best part for the budget-conscious: swimming and lounging the lagoon itself is free -- you only pay for drinks.

What to expect

You'll wade into the Caribbean's largest freshwater lagoon and swim directly up to Long Necks Swim-Up Bar, where 166 in-water stools surround you with fellow guests ordering cocktails. A DJ island pulses nearby, while the Sunshine Swings swing bar—suspended over the shallows with 50 seats—delivers that surreal moment of swinging a drink in the water. The defining photo op of Celebration Key happens here: floating poolside with a cocktail in hand, the lagoon's clear waters and island energy framing the shot. Swimming and lounging the lagoon itself costs nothing; you only pay for each drink you order (budget $12–16 per cocktail).

Good to know

The lagoon is accessed directly from the Celebration Key pier—no additional transportation needed—making it easy to jump in early and claim a good spot at the bar. Arrive with a plan for your 6–8 hour window: stake your float time in the first few hours when it's less crowded, then return for peak DJ/swing-bar energy mid-afternoon. Bring reef-safe sunscreen, a waterproof phone case for photos, and cash or a shipboard account card for drinks; pre-ordering isn't required but expect moderate waits during busy windows. Plan to be back aboard with a 30–45 minute buffer before all-aboard; the lagoon's immediate dock location means you won't need extra time getting to the pier.
