A short tender or ferry transfer from Noss brings you to Lerwick. The museum is open Mon–Sat 10:00–17:00, Sun 12:00–17:00. Fort Charlotte is managed by Historic Environment Scotland and is freely accessible. Allow 2–3 hours to do justice to both sites.
