Slip into Lelepa's protected marine conservation zone — one of Vanuatu's most pristine — for an unhurried drift over kaleidoscopic coral gardens teeming with sea turtles, rays, and reef fish.
What to expect
The reef here is spectacularly healthy, with staghorn and brain corals sheltering clouds of parrotfish, clownfish, and the occasional hawksbill turtle. Your guide reads the tides to time your drift perfectly, maximising visibility and minimising effort. Snorkel equipment is provided and thoroughly checked before entry. Calm, protected waters make this accessible even for occasional snorkellers, while advanced swimmers can explore deeper bommies.
Good to know
Snorkel gear is included; bring your own prescription mask if needed. Apply reef-safe sunscreen only — the community strictly enforces this to protect the reserve. Confirm your place well ahead of port day as group sizes are deliberately kept small.
