Explore one of the South Pacific's most pristine fringing reefs with a certified marine biologist as your personal guide — technicolour coral gardens, manta rays, and reef sharks in water of extraordinary clarity. Pure underwater theatre.
What to expect
A short boat transfer from Nukupule brings you to the Ha'apai reef system, where your marine biologist briefs the group on what to look for: garden eels swaying in the current, Moorish idols darting through brain coral, and the subtle signals that a manta ray is nearby. In the water, the guide signals sightings and keeps the group together for shared moments rather than a scattered free-for-all. Surface intervals are spent drifting on inflatables with cold water and fresh pineapple. A debrief back on the boat identifies every species spotted on a laminated fish card to keep.
Good to know
Non-swimmers or nervous snorkellers can use a flotation vest — flag this at booking. Allow 3–4 hours. Premium mask-and-fin sets are provided but you're welcome to bring your own. Reef-safe sunscreen is mandatory and non-negotiable with this operator.
