La Jolla Cove: Sea Lions, Snorkeling & the Emerald Coast

Slip beneath the crystalline waters of La Jolla Cove in a private guided snorkel with leopard sharks and garibaldi, then watch sea lions bask on sun-warmed rocks. One of California's most breathtaking natural spectacles.

What to expect

Your private guide leads you along the blufftop promenade above sea-lion colonies before descending to the water's edge. Slip on a wetsuit and snorkel gear to glide alongside California's iconic garibaldi fish and docile leopard sharks in gin-clear water. Post-snorkel, a stroll through La Jolla Village to the cliffside terrace of George's at the Cove rewards you with panoramic Pacific views and celebrated coastal cuisine. The pace is entirely yours.

Good to know

La Jolla is roughly 12 miles / 25 minutes from the cruise terminal by rideshare. Private kayak and snorkel tours should be pre-booked — wet suits are provided. Water visibility is best in summer and early autumn. Confirm your return transfer timing against all-aboard.
