Glide above the East Sea in a sky-blue glass capsule on the Haeundae Blueline Park — the most Instagrammable 4.8 km coastal rail in Korea. Transparent cabins float over cliffs and turquoise water for views that stop time.
What to expect
Board your glass Sky Capsule at Mipo Station and glide south along a clifftop rail line, hovering above dramatic rocky coastline and brilliant blue water with the city skyline dissolving behind you. The 30-minute ride passes hidden coves, fishing villages, and pine-forested bluffs inaccessible by road. Disembark at Cheongsapo — a charming traditional fishing port with twin lighthouses — for coffee and fresh donut-shaped hotteok from a harbourside stall. Return via the vintage-style Beach Train for a completely different coastal perspective. Tickets book out weeks ahead in peak season.
Good to know
Pre-book Sky Capsule tickets online well in advance — they sell out fast, especially on weekends. The park is 30 minutes from port by taxi. Allow 2–3 hours for the full experience including time at Cheongsapo. Last capsule is early evening.
