A bike tour is one of the better ways to see central Casablanca. Expect a fairly easy 10–15 km ride on mostly flat ground, passing the Hassan II Mosque, the old medina walls, Art Deco buildings in the downtown area, and the corniche. Traffic is chaotic so the guide keeps you on quieter streets where possible, but you’ll still feel the city’s energy. Tours usually last 2.5–4 hours and include time for photos and short explanations. It’s a solid alternative to sitting in a bus, though you won’t cover the entire city or reach the outer suburbs.
The best time is spring (March–May) or autumn (October–November) when temperatures are comfortable and the sun isn’t brutal. Summer rides are hot and exhausting; winter can be wet. Expect to pay around $35–65 per person for a small-group guided tour with bike and helmet included. Private tours sit at the higher end.
Tip: Choose a morning departure to avoid the worst heat and heaviest traffic. Skip any tour that promises to take you far outside the center unless you’re an experienced rider comfortable with aggressive drivers. Wear comfortable closed shoes and bring a small daypack with water and sunscreen; everything else is usually provided.
