The experience is relaxed and family-friendly but can feel touristy, especially when the streets are crowded. Views of the sea and rooftops are genuinely good on clear days, though the narration is fairly basic.

Best time is spring or autumn when temperatures are comfortable and crowds are lighter. Summer works but the train gets hot and the old town is packed.
