The fountain show is a free, surprisingly impressive spectacle in front of the Bellagio. Choreographed jets of water shoot up to 460 feet while synced to music ranging from classical to pop. Expect crowds, especially at night. The show lasts about five minutes and repeats frequently. It's genuinely entertaining the first couple of times, but it loses some magic after that. You can watch from the sidewalk along the Strip, the Bellagio's lakeside promenade, or even from inside the hotel's Conservatory if you time it right.
Best time is after dark, especially between 8pm and midnight when the lights make it spectacular. Avoid summer weekends if you hate being packed in with hundreds of sweaty tourists. Expect to pay around $0–$25: the show itself is free, but you'll spend on drinks, parking, or a nearby dinner. A guided evening tour that includes the fountains plus other Strip highlights usually runs $50–$120 depending on group size and inclusions.
Pick a spot on the Bellagio side for the best sightlines and fewer elbows. Skip overpriced "VIP" viewing packages; they're not worth it. If you're staying nearby, just wander over when you hear the music start—much better than planning your whole night around it.
