Best time is December through February when it feels less ridiculous to be in sub-zero temperatures in the desert. Avoid summer unless you genuinely enjoy walking from 110°F heat into a meat locker. Expect to pay around $40–$65 per person including one drink; add $15–25 if you want extra shots or a basic photo package. Couples and small groups have a better time than solo travelers.

Pick the vodka or fruity shots served in the ice glasses; they go down easy and justify the entry fee. Skip the overpriced souvenir photos they push at the exit and any add-on “VIP” packages. Just wear closed-toe shoes, go early in the evening before you’re tired, and treat it as a quick, silly Vegas experience rather than a full night out.
