The Slotzilla zipline sits right in the middle of the Fremont Street Experience downtown. You ride a giant slot-machine-shaped platform that lifts you 100+ feet up, then you fly over the crowds and neon lights for about 30 seconds. There are two levels: the lower one is milder and seated (good if you're nervous), the upper one is faster, longer, and you fly Superman-style face-down. Expect tight harnesses, a short safety briefing, and a very touristy vibe with lots of people watching from below. It's fun and the views of the canopy and casinos are solid, but it's not a wilderness thrill ride—it's pure Vegas spectacle.
Best time is spring or fall when it's 70-85°F; summer nights are brutally hot even after dark, and winter can get chilly at height. Expect to pay around $50-90 per person depending on which level and whether you buy the photo/video package. Lines get long on weekends and evenings, so weekday afternoons are smartest.
Tip: go for the upper level if you're even mildly comfortable with heights—it's the real experience. Skip the expensive souvenir photos; your phone from the observation deck gets almost the same shots for free. Wear closed-toe shoes and avoid anything loose in your pockets.
