Off-Road Tours in Las Vegas: What You Should Know

Expect a bumpy, loud, and surprisingly fun ride through desert trails, rocky washes, and steep hills just outside the city. Most tours last 1–2 hours and put you in either an open-air ATV or a more aggressive side-by-side RZR. You’ll get dust, wind, and decent views of Red Rock or the valley, but it’s not a peaceful nature experience — it’s an adrenaline activity with a guide leading a small convoy. The driving itself is easy; the vehicles are automatic and guides stay on established trails.

Best time is October through April when desert temperatures are comfortable. Summer tours run early morning only and still feel brutal. Expect to pay around $150–$280 per person depending on vehicle type, group size, and whether you add a second rider. Solo RZR tours sit at the higher end.

Tip: Choose a RZR over a traditional ATV if you want more excitement and better suspension on rough sections. Skip the shortest 45–60 minute tours — they barely get you out of the staging area and feel rushed. Book a morning slot; the light is better and you won’t bake on the return ride.
