Indoor Skydiving in Las Vegas: Worth It?

It's basically a giant vertical wind tunnel that blows air up at 120+ mph so you can float, turn, and fly like you're skydiving without jumping out of a plane. First-timers do a quick briefing, put on a flight suit, helmet, and earplugs, then take two or three one-minute flights. The wind is loud and powerful; most people grin the whole time but it can feel intense if you're not expecting the force. Staff grab you and help with body position so even total beginners usually get decent hang time. It's fun, safe, and over quickly—great if you want the thrill without a full skydive commitment.

Do it anytime; the indoor facility doesn't care about weather. Summer in Vegas is brutally hot, so indoor skydiving makes a solid afternoon activity when it's 110°F outside. Expect to pay around $80–$150 per person depending on how many flights you add and whether you buy the video package. Basic first-timer packages are usually the smarter buy.

Tip: Book the standard two-flight package and skip the expensive video upgrade—their overhead cameras already capture plenty you can download later. Wear socks that go over your ankles (they provide the suit and helmet) and don't overthink your body position; just listen to the instructor and relax into it.
