La Corniche is a long, palm-lined seaside road with a wide promenade overlooking the Atlantic. Expect a mix of joggers, families, street vendors, and people just hanging out. The views are genuinely nice on clear days, especially toward the Hassan II Mosque, but it’s very much an urban walkway rather than a quiet nature trail. You’ll pass beach clubs with pools, plenty of cafés and restaurants, and the occasional hawkers selling snacks or souvenirs. It’s flat, easy to walk, and stretches several kilometers so you can do as much or as little as you like.
The best time is spring or fall when the temperatures are comfortable. Summer gets brutally hot and humid, while winter can be windy and chilly by the water. Early morning or late afternoon avoids the worst of the heat and crowds. Expect to pay around $5–15 total for the experience itself: basically nothing if you just walk, or that range if you add a simple coffee, snack, or entry to one of the more casual beach clubs with a pool.
Pick a relaxed late-afternoon stroll ending with a drink while watching the sunset. Skip the overpriced touristy restaurants right on the strip; the better-value places are usually a block or two inland. Wear comfortable shoes and bring sunscreen – there’s very little shade once you leave the starting area.
