This half-day tour typically runs about 5–6 hours and combines three very different places: the hilltop medieval village of Eze with its cactus garden and sea views, the manicured streets and casino of Monte Carlo, and a quick look at Monaco’s harbor and palace area. Expect a small-group minibus ride along the corniche roads, a guided walk through Eze (the most atmospheric stop), a photo stop at the Monte Carlo Casino, and limited free time in each place. It’s efficient but fairly paced—you won’t linger anywhere long. The views along the coast are excellent on clear days; the actual time spent “experiencing” each spot is shorter than the drive time.
Best from April to early June or September to mid-October when crowds are lighter and the weather is usually pleasant. Summer can be hot and congested; winter is quieter but windier. Expect to pay around $60–90 per person for a small-group tour with a live guide. Private options or luxury vans push $200+.
Pick the morning departure so you’re not rushed at Eze before lunch. Skip the big coach tours if possible—smaller groups (under 8) move faster and let you actually hear the guide. Bring comfortable shoes for Eze’s cobblestones and don’t expect much beach or relaxation time; this is a classic “see three places fast” itinerary.
