It’s smoother and quieter than most people imagine, though you may hit a few gentle thermals. No prior experience needed, but you should be able to run a few steps and be comfortable with heights.

The best time is the dry season from May to October, especially early mornings before the wind picks up or thermals get too strong. Avoid the rainy summer months (Dec–Mar) when cancellations are common. Expect to pay around $150–$280 for a standard tandem flight including transport from central Rio and basic video.
