Parque del Amor is a small, romantic clifftop park in Miraflores overlooking the Pacific. Expect a curved mosaic wall with love quotes, a large sculpture of a kissing couple, and plenty of locals and tourists taking photos. The views are genuinely nice on clear days, especially at sunset when the place fills with couples. It’s compact—you can see everything in 15-25 minutes—but it gets crowded and vendors constantly approach you. It’s pleasant for a quick stop if you’re already in Miraflores, less so if you’re making a special trip across town.
Best time is late afternoon or sunset between December and April when Lima is warmer and drier. Expect to pay around $0–15 total: it’s free to enter, but you’ll likely spend on taxi/Uber from central Lima ($5–10) or a combined half-day city tour that includes it ($60–90). Skip the overpriced souvenirs and over-eager photographers. Just grab an ice cream or coffee from a nearby café, sit on the wall, and enjoy the ocean breeze. If you’re not into crowds or PDA-heavy spots, you can safely skip it and head to Larcomar or the Malecón instead.
