San Siro Stadium Tour: Worth It?

The San Siro tour takes you through the stands, down the players' tunnel, into the locker rooms, and pitchside. It lasts about 75 minutes and ends in the museum packed with shirts, trophies, and memorabilia from both AC Milan and Inter. Expect a functional, slightly institutional feel rather than a polished theme-park experience. The self-guided audio option works fine, though the English narration is straightforward and a bit dry. It's genuinely interesting if you like football, less so if you're just ticking off sights.

Best time to visit is spring or early autumn on a weekday morning. Summers get hot inside the concrete bowl and weekends are busier. Expect to pay around €25-€35 per adult including museum entry; kids and family tickets are cheaper. Book online in advance during match weeks because tours get canceled or restricted.

Tip: Skip the most expensive premium tour unless you really want the pitch-level photos – the standard one covers the same main areas. Definitely do the museum at your own pace afterward; it's the best part for most visitors. Wear comfortable shoes – you'll walk a lot of stairs.
