Scape Park is a nature-focused excursion on the eastern edge of Punta Cana inside the Cap Cana area. Expect a mix of short rainforest hikes, freshwater cenotes for swimming, dramatic cliffs overlooking the Atlantic, and a few adventure options like zip lines or cave exploring. The terrain is uneven and can be slippery after rain, so you’ll do a decent amount of walking in a tropical setting. It’s not a theme park—more like a managed natural reserve with guided activities. Most visits last 4–6 hours including transport from your resort.
Best time is December through April when rainfall is lowest and temperatures are slightly cooler. Expect to pay around $90–$160 per person depending on whether you choose a basic package or one with the full set of activities and lunch. Resort pickup is usually included. The cenote swim and cliff views are the highlights; the longer zip-line circuit is decent but not world-class.
Tip: Pick the morning tour—it’s cooler and you avoid the biggest crowds. Skip the so-called “adventure” buggy ride if it’s offered; it’s mostly just transport and not very exciting. Bring reef-safe sunscreen, water shoes that can get wet, and a dry bag for your phone.
