A traditional dhow cruise is a relaxed evening sail on a wooden boat, usually with dinner and some entertainment. Expect an air-conditioned lower deck and an open upper deck for photos and breeze. Creek cruises focus on old Dubai views (historic buildings, mosques, skyline), while Marina ones give you modern skyscrapers and yacht vibes. Dinner is a buffet with Arabic, Indian, and international dishes. Entertainment is usually a belly dancer and Tanoura show. It’s touristy but still atmospheric at night when the city lights up. The whole thing lasts 2–2.5 hours.

Best time is November to March when it’s cooler. Summer sails feel sticky even after sunset. Expect to pay around $45–$85 per person depending on whether you choose a standard or premium boat and which creek or marina location. Cheaper options are basic but fine; premium ones have better food, smaller crowds, and nicer seating.
