Expect a full adrenaline hit mixed with some serious views. Most tours run 4-7 ziplines ranging from quick warm-ups to long, fast runs over canyons or desert terrain. You'll also get a suspension bridge and usually a Tarzan swing or rappel. The whole thing takes 3-4 hours including transport. It's physical but not technical; staff handle all the rigging. The landscape is dry, dramatic, and surprisingly green after rains. Don't expect jungle like Costa Rica; this is Baja desert canyon country with ocean views in the distance on the better routes.
Best time is November through April when it's cooler and drier. Summer tours are cheaper but you'll be sweating hard in 95°F+ heat and afternoon storms can cancel rides. Expect to pay around $90–$180 per person depending on how many lines, whether it includes lunch, and if you want the longer “monster” course. Hotel pickup from Cabo San Lucas or San José del Cabo is standard on most trips.
Tip: Book the longer canyon course if you're reasonably fit; the short park-only tours feel over too quickly for the price. Skip the add-on photos unless you really want them; the guides take plenty on the course and the views are better with your own GoPro or phone in a secure chest harness. Wear closed-toe shoes and quick-dry clothes.
