A small but pleasant Caribbean zoo with flamingos, parrots, iguanas, and a handful of mammals. Expect a relaxed 1–2 hour visit wandering through shaded gardens rather than a full-day safari. The flamingo flock is the highlight; they train them to march on command a few times a day. It’s genuinely nice for families or anyone who wants a gentle nature break between beach and rum punches, but it’s not a world-class zoo. The birds and native reptiles are the strongest part; the mammal enclosures are older and less impressive.
Best time is December to April when it’s cooler and drier. Expect to pay around $30–40 per adult and $20–25 per child. Add transport if your hotel isn’t nearby. Go in the morning when animals are more active and crowds are lighter. One honest tip: skip the gift shop and overpriced snacks; bring water and bug spray instead. The flamingo show is worth catching, but don’t bother lingering at the smaller cages once you’ve seen the main areas. It’s a decent half-day choice if you like animals and have already done the main excursions.
